My company does mostly interior improvements, but we are being asked to include site electrical scope in an upcoming bid package. How can Preston Companies help me win this job?
We understand that some Electrical companies are not equipped to self-perform excavation work, or other scopes that require the use of heavy equipment. We can help you complete your bid package, and leverage our extensive fleet of equipment to execute trenching, backfilling, compaction, hoisting and setting of special equipment.
Is Preston Electric signatory to the IBEW?
Yes, Preston Electric is a union electrical contractor, capable of handling all C-10 licensed work.
We are beginning the soils analytics portion of our project. What can Preston Companies do to help this process?
You can leverage a variety of services provided by Dirt Market, a Preston Company. Our drilling machines are equipped with Shelby Tube technology to provide comprehensive dirt sampling that identifies your site’s unique soil characteristics. Samples are then taken to a lab for analysis, reviewed by our expert team, and matched up with a proper and legal disposal site.
When should we engage Dirt Market for these services?
The sooner the better. Often, customers wait until the construction phase of work to get soil analysis done. This can adversely affect the overall site schedule and logistics, as stockpiles continue to grow while sampling and analysis are being done. Executing soil sampling and analysis in the preconstruction phase allows you to move dirt as soon as construction begins.
