This new liberal arts building is being constructed on the existing American River College campus. While the project is focused on constructing the new liberal arts building, PrestonPipeline’s scope of work includes installing new Hydronic piping on the western half of the campus. Hydronic piping uses hot and chilled water mains that service buildings for heating and cooling. The Hydronic piping material is an insulated and field-fused HDPE (high-density polyethylene) pipe that runs underground and creates a closed-loop system around the campus. The work requires specialized certified technicians and equipment, a task that PrestonPipelines completes with their own forces.
