Preston Companies recently announced the appointment of Laurie Cerrito as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective November 4th, 2024. Laurie will report to Jordan Thomas, President of Preston Companies, and will oversee the company’s financial actions. Her duties include tracking cash flow, analyzing strengths and weaknesses to propose corrective action plans when necessary, and preparing accurate forecasts so that management can make informed financial decisions.

Laurie joined Preston in 2022 as Finance Director and has over 27 years of experience in construction finance. Laurie has extensive knowledge in financial analysis and statement preparation, budgeting and forecasting, mergers and acquisitions, general accounting, coordinating audit activities, sales and property tax reporting, and treasury. She received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Arizona State University.
