1. What does the safety week theme “Strong Voices, Safe Choices” mean to you?

It means we all have a say to work safely and listen to others’ opinions. We are a team, and every member counts and has a voice.

2. What do you do to ensure you’re working safely each day?

I pay attention at the morning meetings and follow our JHA’s to ensure we are following the correct procedures. I also listen to my foreman and always ask questions if I am unsure about something.

3. Why is safety important in the workplace?

Safety is important so we can all go home to our families and come back to work the next day.

4. What motivates you to work safely?

To ensure that I have a long and successful career here at Preston Pipelines.

5. What does safety mean at Preston?

Safety at Preston is a priority and can never be compromised.
